Eight years ago, I started my photography business, which spawned from a passionate side hobby. In 2018, I went from 7 weddings to 43 weddings, allowing me to quit my job from one of the world's top PR and marketing agencies to make a six-figure revenue. I've expanded the business to include the San Francisco and Austin markets + have brought on two additional associate photographers to support demand.
Since I started this dream adventure, I've been published by outlets like Style Me Pretty, Martha Stewart, The Black Tie Bride and Carats and Cake. One of our biggest honors has been finding clients that invest in us traveling to shoot engagement sessions and weddings all over the country, including Charleston, Sedona, Washington D.C., Seattle, Denver, New Orleans and more.
In addition to always honing our photography skills, I greatly attribute my success to my business knowledge. I graduated from Texas State with a degree in public relations and writing, and then worked as a public relations and marketing manager for 6+ years where I managed accounts in technology, consumer brand and government spaces worth over $1M. In addition to this, I've kept up my marketing abilities by supporting creatives from a freelance perspective with website copywriting and social media management.
